All animals adopted have to have a $50.00 spay and neuter fee. Our History. The Morgan County Humane Society was founded in the 1970s by two ladies, a handful of foster homes, and a van. Every Saturday, they held an adoption event in the old K-mart parking lot in Martinsville.
